Our History

At Los Arcos Street Tacos, our story began with a heartfelt dream and a deep connection to our roots. Founded in December 2023 and opening its doors in July 2024, our restaurant and it’s name is a tribute to the rich culinary heritage of Querétaro, Mexico, where the Sanchez family’s journey began.

Our owner, who has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, offers extensive expertise in both kitchen operations and management. This experience has been the cornerstone of Los Arcos Street Tacos, where passion meets tradition.

One of our proudest offerings is the Pambazo, a beloved Mexican sandwich crafted from a cherished family recipe. This sandwich, featuring ham, beans, potatoes, and carrots, was lovingly taught to the owner by her stepmom, who is no longer with us but whose spirit lives on through the dish. We believe you’ll taste the love and care in every bite.

Located in St. Joseph, Missouri, Los Arcos Street Tacos is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of family, tradition, and exceptional Mexican cuisine. Los Arcos Street Tacos is an extension of the beloved Tienda La Estrella, a Mexican supermarket and associated with El Leon Construction, LLC. The businesses all of who are owned by a Sanchez sibling and are deeply rooted in the St. Joseph community.
